Pros • Central location • Stylish design in common areas Cons • Poor service and communication: We weren’t told about major street closures for the Frankfurt Triathlon, which directly impacted our checkout timing. On top of that, a maintenance worker showed up at our door unannounced one day to install a peephole. No warning, no explanation. • Noise issues: Doors slam loudly throughout the floor, and construction noise from the neighboring building continues despite earlier guest complaints. No earplugs, no heads-up, no gesture. • Housekeeping skipped: Even though we didn’t opt out, our room was not cleaned daily. • “Lean” amenities: Communal hot water tap isn’t hot enough; coffee tasted bad. No kettle, phone or minibar in the room.

Funky gem at the heart of Frankfurt

Stayed for one night to enjoy Frankfurt. Location was excellent and the hotel is really nice - friendly staff, easy check in, our room were functional, clean and beautifully designed. The hotel also has a rooftop bar that we enjoyed. Walking distance to many of Frankfurt's attractions.

Tolles Hotel, schlechter Service

Das Hotel selber war recht gut. Leider muss ich aber grosse Abstriche beim Servicepersonal am Empfang verteilen. Beim Einchecken wurde ich unfreundlich begrüsst, und als ein Störfakt im Gespräch unter Mitarbeitern angesehen. Als ich zum Empfang zurückgekehrt bin, um nach Papiertüchern zu fragen, wurde ich erneut sehr unfreundlich und arrogant behandelt, da ich das Gespräch wieder störte. Auch wurde mir arrogant vorgeworfen nicht meine Zimmernummer sofort parat zu haben, wobei man das einfach im Computer nachschlagen könnte. Nachdem ich die Zimmernummer mitgeteilt hatte und der Zimmerservice an der Tür klopfte, hatte er neue Decken und Handtücher aber keine Papiertücher dabei, was klar beweist wie einem zugehört wurde. Leider wurde man auch nicht vom Empfang vorbereitet, dass morgens ab 8Uhr Bauarbeit im Hotel vorgenommen werden, und man Schlafen vergessen kann, auch im Urlaub. Etwas seltsam ist es, dass man durch die Kabine mit der Toilette zur Dusche kommt, die durch eine weitere Tür abgetrennt ist. Ich würde gerne auf eine positive Note enden, und möchte herausheben, dass die Lage super war um in the Innenstadt zu kommen oder von einem Zentralknotenpunkt die U-Bahn überall hinzufahren.
