Great City Hotel

Great hotel located in Frankfurt city center. The room was large and comfortable, parking in the back, and very friendly staff. We woukd stay here again if we visit Frankfurt again.

The hotel was better than expected for the average rate I found in the site. The neighborhood is good, silent, and the place is not very distant from the city center (15min in S lines). There are supermarkets and restaurants with reasonable prices. I stayed in a single room, but with a large desk and reasonable space for the luggage. The maintainance of the room and of the bathroom seems good. It also has a kettle and tea bags (which were not in the description of the room). The breakfast was also very good, with a variety of cold and hot options. There was also a fan in the room, which was essential for a hot summer day. If I go to Frankfurt again, this hotel will certainly be one of my first options.

It’s a simple unpretentious hotel that’s nice and quiet. Vishan at the counter was great to deal. Breakfast was a hearty German meal that kept me going got the day. I’ll be back!

We were rebooked into a room that was undergoing maintenance, and the door made a screeching noise when opening or closing. I made a reservation for two, buh towels, cups, and everything were for one because that was the wrong room. The view wasn't what I paid for. It took longer to get extra toiletries. We could smell cigarettes smooke in our room and it wasn't fun

During my stay at the hotel, my information somehow got leaked to scammers with exact date of when I was staying and my phone number. The scammer then messaged me on Watsapp to "confirm" my credit card. If I had not been careful, I could have easily lost a lot of money. This happened either due to expedia's lack of security or due to hotel's negligence.

Room was nice and clean. Location was not bad. I did not like the fact that when we arrived the heating was off, so we had to start it and wait till it gets warm. Breakfast was generally poor, but in particular for me it was zero- there were no Vegan options. No soya milk, no margarine, no oil, nothing. When we booked, we booked a 4 star hotel. It has nothing to do with 4 star provisions.

The room smells terrible which probablyt comes from sanitalization. Even I kept open the window for sometime, but it never gone. Hair dryer was broken. They also charged additional breakfast fee, even I found their starting time was far late than my check out time. Receptionisit told me to contact owner for refund, but never got reply. Reception was also closed at 7:00 am. all door to reception was also rocked. I will never come back to this hotel.
