Laange Vacation Home in the National Park Park Kellerwald Edersee, right on the edge of the Sauerland.

Our spacious vacation home is located in the Feriendorf Frankenau, right in the Kellerwald Edersee National Park, bordering the beautiful Sauerland region. The cozy living room features a wood-burning stove, a seating area, a dining area that seats 6, a TV with German and Dutch channels, Netflix, a Blu-ray DVD player with a small collection of children’s DVDs, and a view of the garden. A few steps lead down to the kitchen, which is fully equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, 4-burner stovetop, oven, air fryer, and more. Next to the kitchen on this floor is the bathroom with a shower and toilet, a separate toilet, and a double bedroom with built-in closets and its own sink. A wooden staircase leads to the next floor, where there are two more bedrooms. Both bedrooms feature built-in closets, their own sinks, and access to the balcony. From the balcony, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the garden and the park. The garden, spanning over 540 square meters, surrounds the house, and at the front, you’ll find a spacious and sunny patio with a BBQ, patio furniture, and a parasol.
At the entrance to the vacation park, there is a small shop/restaurant where you can buy basic groceries and order fresh pastries. You can have breakfast at the restaurant on weekends. The village of Frankenau is within walking distance, featuring several bakeries, a butcher shop, a pizzeria, a gas station, and two restaurants. About 7 km away is a large outdoor swimming pool with a slide, and on Lake Edersee you can take a boat ride or visit one of the many castles.
