The rooms were well cleaned. They had no rugs, which I am not used to, but it made me sure that there were no bugs to worry about. The hotel is close to the highway so there is noise, but not too bad and it is a decent trade for quickly getting back on the road. The elevator had a panel that didn't show lights or numbers, which is unsettling and needs fixed, but it worked well to get me to the third floor. Overall, I would say a good value for the affordable price.

Checking in was smooth with friendly staff, unfortunately when we checked in the room (very clean), we noticed there were no towels or toiletry; guess they forgot to refill them. Luckily we noticed right away, so we immediately reported it, to avoid being charged; the front desk person was very apologetic, took some pictures, report it himself as well and gave us some temporary towels for the night. We left for the day and when we returned, everything was full stocked this time, except for a dirty towel that was left ti n the sink. We thought it would be crazy to make another report once again, I decided to leave it outside the room, because they had also told us we would be charged for any excessively dirty towels if they were used for other than drying up, and since this was clearly used for general cleaning and too dirty, I did not want to risk being held responsible (also did not want for someone to get in trouble again). As for rest of the room, TV was larger than most places and a newer model, so that was nice. Although the mattress was comfortable, the thick pillows made it very uncomfortable to sleep so we had to discard them, which ruined the fact that the bed was comfortable... Also, if you are a light sleeper, be aware that the rooms are all literally within a few yards from the freeway path, making it seem like you were sleeping by the side of the road. I get that all motels are positioned close to the freeways for easy access but this one was by far the closest!

Room was good sheets and bedding were clean. No fowl or stank smell when entering. What makes this stay a 1 star is the surprise deposit, the vending machines that charge airport prices ($4.60) for a can of pepsi and guess im out of order vending machine across from it. Required interference called room service and the worse pwr5 is the Motel staff. Rude, unprofessional, uneducated and prejudice. Childish behavior to the point of disconnecting the room phone line because of the harassment from the front desk staff. Even called my cell phone in an effort to just get the last word in or something. I even noticed staff leaving the office to bum a few cigarettes while a family of 3 waited outside the office in the rainy cold weather. Trust me...NEVER AGAIN MOTEL 6 FOUNTAIN VALLEY!!!

Very fast wifi if gaming. 35mbs in room. 100% of staff speaks spanish if helpful. Rooms very clean. It is an old property especially for a motel 6. It was quiet on property but it is 16 feet from 405 on back side which didnt bother me. No bugs.
