Second Motel 6 I’ve stayed in the past year both have just been bad. This one in particular they went out of their way to be super cheap. It’s got to be the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen in the United States. The beds feel like you’re sleeping on a piece of plywood. Bathrooms are extremely small hard to move around it did have cable TV, but almost all the stations were Spanish,

The lights in our room did not work. Only one light was working. The tv wasn’t working. The bathroom had spots where the mold was building up. But it was just somewhere to stay after coming in for an event. It was in a very convenient area considering our event was less than 5 min away.

Guy at the front was extremely rude. Every time I went to address a concern, he was sitting in the back with his shoes off. Just a very unkind person and acted as if my concerns were inconveniencing him somehow. Beds are barely sturdy enough to lay on, mattress might as well be on the floor but then you’d be laying with the cockroaches. Night stand in between beds literally falling off the wall. Did not feel safe being outside of the room at all. Overall stay was a horrific experience.

Had to ask for shampoo. Never made the bed the last three nights, little less change the sheets. Never vacuumed the room entire stay. Usually shorted me on hand towels. No hairdryer. Staff always seemed irritated when I asked for something rather than polite. No Channel guide for TV in room. Had to have them print out one at the front desk for me. The TV was very dark and no way to brighten it up on remote. And last but not least, the pillows must have been at least 8-10 years old. They were not comfortable at all. Worst room I have ever had in 55 years of travel all around the world.

Decent Hotel

It is one of the best Motel 6 hotels I have stayed at. The bench in the bedroom provided more comfortable seating than the standard wooden chair. The shower was a stall, with a small bench. The room was clean. Plenty of restaurants in the area, Buccees across the street with Tanger Outlet Mall not too much further away. Hotel had a pool, though I don't know if it was open or not.
