The whole experience was a bit of a mess. Our first room seemed ok, but the outlets near the mirror didn’t work. I realized the cord running power to them wasn’t plugged in, so plugged it in. The power blew in our room and the outlets started smoking. So I called the front desk to move rooms. She said I’d need to come to the lobby and bring my ID to get new keys. No apology, no empathy, little kindness. So I went to the lobby, then packed up and moved. Found the hotel asst manager in the lobby, told her all of this. She asked if they could send something to the room or offer breakfast vouchers as an apology, I said vouchers would be great. Didn’t send them.
In the new room, the toilet flushed, but you had to lift the tank to get it to refill. Told the same girl at the desk, she said that shouldn’t happen and they’d have it fixed.
I expect more from a full service hotel in the way of service. The valet attendants and restaurant staff were terrific. Front desk and management were not very attentive to guest needs.
