We didn’t have a good start, as the front desk staff displayed some obvious prejudices to me, my spouse, and our friends. We asked for adjoining rooms or to be on the same floor, we were ignored. She put our friend on a separate floor. It was off putting and rude. The room was not as clean as I expected from Avid. I’ve stayed at the chain multiple times in other cities. It wasn’t filthy but it certainly wasn’t great. Very disappointing.

You get what you pay for!!!

Be advised walls are super thin. You can hear next door tv, conversations etc. The first night was a disaster!!! The staff is well aware of thin walls. They tried to reach out to next door occupants and were not able to, so we endured until about 2am. Housekeeping was non existent. We requested it but never got it. We were there for three nights. Be very specific about requesting housekeeping. Hotel is generally clean, AC worked well, there was security patrolling parking lot. Hotel is in a great location, close to food and stores. They have a modern coffee dispenser that grinds the beans, was not bad. Breakfast had some decent grab and go selections. I would not recommend or stay here again. I paid $97 a night, less than what I typically pay in Ft. Worth. I was optimistic because the hotel was relatively new and had decent reviews.

We got to our room in the evening to take a shower and the shampoo was empty however I’m glad I packed a travel one just Incase. The body wash was actually body lotion, they are all white so I’m sure an easy mistake. We woke up and our ac unit had leaked on the floor so we cleaned it up. The breakfast is a grab and go - not a traditional hotel breakfast I was use to. Overall it wasn’t terrible The staff was nice and understanding and offered 1/2 off our next stay with an Avid hotel due to inconvenience but I didn’t get anything so I’m not sure how to redeem that at a later date.
