Easily our favorite stay on our trip through Scotland! Very attentive, kind and professional staff. Impeccably clean. An absolutely beautiful old home turned hotel and lovely to see that they've really respected and maintained the integrity of the original home. Great food and bar. Just overall fantastic place to stay.
We had a mixed experience here. The space was absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. The dining options at the lodge were pretty minimal and I overheard a woman complain multiple times about how terrible her dinner was, so we decided not to chance it and go somewhere nearby. But the options nearby are also pretty limited. I think if you’re staying for one night like us, it’s not worth it. But it would be great for multiple nights. Having to leave your keys at the door every time you leave is weird and uncomfortable. And they really need to get more wine options! The lounge is so nice, but four women including myself wanted to drink wine and they only had these terrible mini bottles or two cheap and full bottles. There’s clearly demand, why not supply?
This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Highlands. Excellent location, amazing views, comfortable rooms, a great bar, and a hard working, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff
Very healthy breakfast choices. Adequate parking. Comfy and relaxing lounge/bar, pleasant and informative staff, Lorna was very welcoming, great live music musician. Loved the sea view!
Loved everything about our stay at this charming lodge. The host + staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Our room had an amazing scenic view, the breakfast was great, perfect location, and easy parking. Would definitely recommend!
OH. MY. GOODNESS! What a gem. Perhaps the most favorite of our stays during a three-week long trip through Scotland celebrating our anniversary. The lodge is way from the hustle and bustle of Fort William almost to Ballachullish. But very short drive for seeing the sites in Fort William. The lodge is charming and the staff is wonderful. Very welcoming. The view of the loch from the lodge is spectacular. The large conformable common area housing the very well-stocked whisky bar is the best place to end your day. Staff is extremely knowledgable about whisky. Rooms were clean and super cozy and comfy. Breakfast in the dining room was delicious and always a great way to start the day. Staff offered up great and varied referrals for local places to eat and things to do. We will have very fond memories of this place and the people we met. Highly recommend.
Wonderful property, we had a deluxe room with lake view. The bed was large king. Everything was great. Close to Glencoe. Restaurant offers very limited options, but everything else is five stars.
Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Provided travel recommendations, were very knowledgeable about whiskey. Beautiful property, artwork and decorations.
Beautiful setting, Scottish feel to the rooms and bar. The staff was really nice. The unusually warm weather made the sleeping unbearable. We purchased a fan the following day which helped.
