Room was clean and nice. No Microwave or college refridgerator but that was expected ( sort of) due to the glampimg warning. We stayed in unit 44 with a nice view looking west away from the mountain behind us. The stars were amazing. We timed our drive to the closest entrance to Big Bend Nat'l Park and it was 90 minutes to the Maverick entrance. Leaving the ranch it was 3 miles of good dirt road and 13 miles of semi rough paved road to highway 118. Then on highway 118 about another 50 minutes to the nearest park entrance. We enjoyed our stay there especially the darkness, couldn't see my hand in front of my face with no moon. Bad rabbit cafe had excellent service with Bo as our waiter and the food was very good. It's just a very long drive to BB Nat'l Park. We might stay at Big Bend Station next time to minimize the drive to the park. Starlight Theatre in Terilingua was really fun. Really cool place. We ordered the French Dip and the Shrimp tacos there and the live music and $3 beers was nice,

Friendly staff always up for a good chat and helped us to our room after dark. The cafe is amazing! Rooms were nice but we hardly noticed we were so tired. It is pet friendly.

Beautiful area. I wish we would have stayed longer. The only issue we had was that the cabins are duplexes. We could hear absolutely everything that the neighbors were saying and doing. There is no kind of wall insulation or noise barrier.

Not a good location after you finish the trip in Big Bend national Park . You have to drives one hour and 30 minutes To the property.

Room was clean, quiet, comfortable, pleasantly cooled, and it smelled really good when we walked in! Great little cafe on premise, staff was always courteous and attentive. Amazing location, really away from it all - 3 miles of unpaved road to get to it. Whole family loved it!
