I was so worried based on the bad reviews. I don’t know where they stayed. Granted it was a basic, budget, no frills hotel. It might have been the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. I have been in all 50 states and 28 countries. I have stayed in thousands of hotels. The bed was one of the best, so comfortable. The walls are very thin. I could hear the full conversation next door and they weren’t loud. There was a lot of traffic noise. About 9:30 pm, it was so quiet, no neighbor or traffic noise. My husband is always up by 7 am, he slept in until 8:15 am. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a budget hotel.

Horrible experience. If my dog is not welcome here, I’m not spending another nickel at this joint. I’d made a reservation at the ft Stockton quality inn and prepaid. When I arrived there was a large, gruff not saying “no dogs, including service dogs.” I’d spent the previous night the Bisbee QI without a problem and the staff was excellent and accommodating. But the owner of the FS Qi made a decision that no longer would it accept dogs so I cancelled my reservation ( and lost my paid reservation) and found an accommodating motel close by. I will never book a room at he FS QI and I question Hotels.com if it allows its customers to be treated so shabbily by the dog-hating owner of this sorry excuse of a no-uality inn.

This is the WORST place EVER to stay. they charged my card so many times for false things the dispute & time it takes is chaos. They’re is broken glass & dirty needles laying around in they’re outside area. Awful place. Day time staff awful. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

While the staff was courteous enough, the room had a dirty bathroom and some really old towels. The breakfast items were out at 6 when we needed to leave in the morning but the staff didn't want us to take breakfast until 7. The TV doesn't work in the room. The price was reflective of the limited services.

We were there for the big bend open road Raice and there was plenty of parking for the trailer. The room was comfortable however, the area around the hotel was quite dirty and trashy.

Smelly room

When we arrived, check in was good. No issues, but when we got to the room, it had a very strong odor of urine. I went into the restroom and there was feces on the toilet seat. I told the clerk and she cleaned it right away. The room was ok to just sleep in for one night.

I booked this reservation with a Expedia agent. And then I got to the property went to check in and asked them about the use of the pool. Well I was informed that it was down apparently needing repairs. And I had just come from motel 6 where their pool was being renovated. So it was really hot I had been traveling back from California and to find out that both places during the summer didn’t have a pool for me to cool off in was so frustrating. At that point I was very mad. Checked in because I was tired, hot, and pretty upset and did not want to keep looking for another place to stay with a pool. And so I feel as good customer service to me I should at least get a discount or one free night at my next booking say in Rock Port Texas? I feel that would be very courteous to help make up for my Lousy experience at the Quality Inn. The pool situation was a great big disappointment. Please respond to my request? Thank You Susie Vivas

You get what you pay for. I didn’t expect a lot but it wasn’t just uncomfortable hot for guest but also staff in lobby for breakfast. Nothing to drink but coffee and hot water.
