There were cockroaches in the room, I woke up in the middle of the night, turn the light on there they were, on the bathroom floor and living space. It freaked me out; I called the front office the next morning since the reception of the hotel closes at 7pm. The supervisor just brushed it off, she asked me if they were small or big cockroaches, that if they were the big ones, then it came from the palm tree, as if it mattered, no apology whatsoever. the only thing good about my stay was the receptionist, she was great

This property exceeded our expectations! Listed as a partial ocean view, but you could still see so much of the beach and water. We could watch the sunrise in the morning from the balcony and the sunset just a few steps away on the beach. They have a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool toys. We just wanted a short weekend getaway from the cold Chicago weather and this was the perfect spot. I will definitely be booking my next stay here when I’m back in Fort Myers Beach.

Great place right on Fort Meyers Beach. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Housekeeping staff did an excellent job talking care of our room. Will definitely come back next time we come to Fort Meyers Beach.

Edison Beach House is truly one of our favorite places to stay. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with gorgeous views and easy access to everything Fort Myers Beach has to offer. The rooms are always **spotlessly clean**, comfortable, and well-maintained, which makes it feel like a home away from home. The **staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive**, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. We also love the **amenities**, especially the beachfront pool, outdoor seating areas, and the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Every stay is consistently wonderful, and we always leave already looking forward to our next visit.
