It was ok.

The highlight of my stat was definitely the lady at check-in—super sweet and friendly. The room itself was a bit of a letdown; it had a weird smell, not very fresh, but it was clean enough and did the job since I was only there for one night. I wish I had known there was going to be a band playing, though. At first, I was happy that my room faced the pool area, but that just meant I had to listen to music until almost 10:30 at night. It kind of ruined the relaxing vibe I was hoping for, like reading and chilling out. Also, the pictures online made the place look nicer than it actually was, which was a bit disappointing.

The room was nice, clean, bed comfortable. It had a mini fridge but no microwave. Good hot water supply. Facility is a motel with a patio and pool, beside the Tiki Bar. Ice machine out of service, but ice was available at the Tiki Bar. The Tiki Bar had very loud music playing in the evening. They turned down the volume or shut if off at 10 pm. The Tiki Bar brings in a lot of outside patrons and my wife said, "I'm not swimming in the pool with all those folks in the tiki bar watching me."

This is our second time at Dolphin Key Resort, it is easy to get to, the staff is helpful and friendly and reasonably priced. There are tons of places to eat around the resort, they even have entertainment and food at the Tiki Bar which is right on the property. The pool is always clean and not very busy and they provide you with pool towels. It would be nice if they had a small microwave in the rooms. Our shower was pretty hot this time.

Nice Place!

Nice little place. Clean and efficient. The shower was a little hard to figure out but the room as a whole was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. King size bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable!

Have someone on site 24/7 our last night was Sunday the bar closed at 9 and so did the pool. But that didn’t stop the group that was there from getting out there radio and have the kids screaming and yelling until 1 am no one

Don't judge a book by its cover! This property may look aged, but we were so very impressed with how well the owners have updated the interior and pool area. It's clean, comfortable, modern, and the customer service is the best I've experienced in a while. Meghan is the epitome of a hospitality professional!
