Staff was more friendly and attentive to the younger crowd, at check in, pool entrance, and at the beach while renting a chair. Waitress not once approached me for a drink order the entire time. Valet once forgot me waiting for my car, the couple after me got their car and I had to address the valet that I was still waiting.

I am rooting for this property to be great! And my expectations are high maybe to high! I have been disappointed each time and while i consider it a moral obligation to stay here its has not provided a value. Hopefully they can get to a place where if they are gonna charge for excellence then at least deliver it.

Disappointed in the Ft MyerMargheritaville resort…

Unfortunately the water pressure is terrible. I was told it is like that all over Estero Island. Beautiful place and room, but some Aspects are impractical, like having to stand to turn off the light between the beds, then getting into the bed in the dark! And be sure to get a lesson on how to work the shower, though it won’t get very hot or provide much pressure.

First and foremost they charge you daily for valet parking which is $38 and they have property fees of around$15, they do not tell you this but plan on paying about $60 a day extra when staying their. This is not included and they do not tell you this until you arrive there and check in. Overall I give this place a very low 3 it’s not a 5 star hotel and what they charge for rooms and food is outrageous. Their restaurants are just ok. Even dining in their J&W was fair and everything was ala cart. Food was not great lobster was old and had an horrible smell, had to send back. Even the waitress was embarrassed. Also plan on paying At least $200/500 a day just for food and drinks. Their rooms are ok. I would not stay there again. Not for what they charge.

like that everything is walking distance.....annoying parking valet fee 35. a day. REsort fee, ANNoying! At least there are free ebikes you can use. Publix is not walking distance, but places to shop and eat are. Dont like that you cant bring cooler with your own drinks to their pool , or beach area. Nor, your own cups, or coffee cup to the pool area. Maybe they would allow the paper coffee cups from the room? The outside beach area, yes, but not theirs. I'm sure they want you to purchase their drinks, of course. They did have great servers in pool area drinks kinda pricey. But at least good, and good amount of alcohol. Also, off season, room rate was soooo much better, so didnt mind, as much, purchasing drinks there. Resort is new, or newly renovated, so that is a plus. and all employees were great.....not the uninterested that you get many places.

The house keeping was subpar to say the least! Our sheets were never changed. My wife spilled a drink on them the first day and it was still there after 7 nights. There was still trash on the floor and the conditioner was empty. I would have liked to see more merchandise in the gift shop.

Hidden valet fees also needs another gift shop with more to offer clothing wise. Pool area should close later Lights n music around pool area should close at 10 or 11pm. More people would eat and spend more money on the grounds if pool was and bar n grill were open later. Space outside was empty and quiet. Ice cream n coffee bar are in corner out of site and closed up early. Bring the shop out in open and more people will be pressure to spend money there
