The beachfront location is unmatchable at Lago Mar, and they have many amenities on the property, including an adult pool, which is super nice if you enjoy having a peaceful poolside experience. I have to admit that the service aspect has gone downhill since first coming here a few years back before the pandemic. While the Front Desk is generally friendly, the overall staff were not smiling and accommodating like they used to be, they have kept up some of the decor, but our oceanfront suite definitely needed attention in certain areas that were either damaged or not working. We will be letting the resort management know about those areas that needed attention.

We stayed for 4 nights and the resort was lovely. Very kid friendly. Convenience with charging everything on room account. We are Canadian and the only downfall for us was the expense of our dollar exchange unfortunately with everything an extra made it expensive. , nothing to do with the resort though.
