A little uncomfortable experience with kids.

Hotel was definitely showing its age. When we got to the hotel, there were 3 police cars and multiple cops surrounding a lady that appeared to be drunk and arguing with the cops.

If you want a nice place to stay before your cruise or even if you're just visiting Ft. Lauderdale, Hyatt Place is great. Our room was big, breakfast was good, and coffee was hot!

Hotel and staff very friendly. The room was super clean, fitness room had Peleton bikes (2), outdoor swimming pool was clean and nice. So close to outdoor shopping malls and restaurants. Easy shuttle service to cruise port and airport. Highly recommend. Free Breakfast was your normal continental, could have been a little better, but I wasn't there for the breakfast.
