Everything about our state was perfect. The staff was phenomenal, the room was very large and accommodating. We love the view over the lake in the back and short access to the beach. The pool and hot tub were easily accessible and perfect.

There are not enough superlatives to cover all the wonderful aspects of Canada House, each and every member of the family was putting an obvious effort to make everyone feel welcome. I will place my focus on the fact that they welcome everyone home when they arrive and they certainly live up to their welcome. Jeffrey checked me in and I watched him help each arriving or current guest with such warmth and care I couldn’t help but think that the Canada House really was living up to the welcome homes that they were offering. I required assistance from Jeffrey a few times on our stay and he greeted me on the phone by name in such a way that I could hear his smile through the phone. He was completely and graciously willing to help me with each question that I had. We work often in the area and have family in the area, as well, we can’t wait for the next reason to find ourselves home again at Canada House. Thank you for a short but wonderful stay for our family.

I am not sure how this hotel gets 9+ rating on expedia, but it's no where near that level. The room we stayed at was across the street from the beach, not beach front, building 2 - which is no where in the ad. The building is old with cracks in the drywall, bathroom looked like it hadn't been remodeled since 1970s and is falling apart. Mattresses are terrilbe. Check-in was quick and staff was friendly, the only positives I can think of.

My only disappointment was that my room was on the first floor. I couldn't see the ocean over the dune, but the view of the lagoon was quite lovely as well. Not the most modern or luxurious property, but it was an excellent value for something east of A1A. I'd stay here again.

Set in the 1980"s but is maintained with care. There are several things offered; a sizeable pool, shuffle-board, gas grills and a wonderful beach and lighthouse within minutes. The suites are clean, tidy and spacious and overseen by a number of helpful staff.
