We upgraded our room because the rooms there are so small and there is no space to unpack etc. When we arrived the woman at the front desk seemed so bothered and annoyed by me asking questions and checking in. We then find out that the main pool area is closed the on top of that the hotel ran out of clean towels. When I walked to reception, their response was "we posted the pool closing on our website" I do not check websites on a daily to check on things like this. We should have received an email notification letting us know and giving guests options to cancel the reservation. We finally get our room and waited a very long time for our luggage to then realize that our luggage and personal belongings have been taken off the luggage carts because they were short and had to remove our belongings to bring the cart for new guests arriving.... No one was available to help, finally a nice lady came and helped me find a cart to bring our things up to the room. We get to the elevators and only one elevator was working so it took forever to get up and down to the 8th floor. When we get to the room, there is such a nasty odor coming from the bathroom like sewer water it was gross oh and the door did not lock all the way. What else can go wrong? we had to wait hours for sheets for the pullout couch! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER they need to do a full upgrade on both hotel and staff. no one should ever treat anyone like garbage. never again!
