Sketchy sketchy sketchy Hall smelled like weed. Door knob to bathroom was broken. Pillows are small and terrible. Back door to my room was open when i checked in (room had 2 doors).

Pick up a shovel Turn on the heat

Cold in Iowa . The heat was shut off in room. took a day to warm up. floors are concrete / big window . Management should turn on heat . I had a late check in . the parking lot was clear of snow but the side walks where covered. Pick up a shovel very unsafe . LAZY PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE IN A SERVICE TYPE BUISNESS

I booked this place for a night as I had a class I needed to do; overall I’d say the hotel wasn’t the worst one I’ve stayed at but to the management team; I’d definitely look for some new cleaners. I do a lot of Airbnb cleaning so I notice a lot of small things. A couple things were finding a used flosser and bread clip on the floor by the bed as well as the bathroom floor feeling dirty and having ripped toilet paper pieces on the floor. The shower wasn’t super clean either, however it just took a good rinse before my shower. I’d just say make sure the room is being properly cleaned as it goes beyond the bed being made and the trash being taken out. The pool I was looking forward to, however it also was not super clean, the floor was almost like loose rocks and the hot tub was cold, however there wasn’t an out of order sign. The man at the front desk was very quick to helping get checked in and getting extra towels. I do think it would help just simply having different cleaners as the cleanliness of an environment plays a huge role when it comes to choosing a place to stay. Overall, not the worst experience but would have enjoyed it more if it was cleaner :)

Very dirty and uninviting. Bed bugs found in room. We checked in at 1:30 AM, checked the room, we were very disappointed and left. They refused to refund our money and we weren’t in the room but 2 minutes!!!
