Parking was easy. At reception there were fresh cookies and coffee, and water for tea. There were a lot of steps up to our room but it was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and very hospitable. Walking distance to downtown was perfect. The skunk train, which is a draw to the area for many, lets you know that it is coming and going. It is loud. Overall, a nice stay in a super historic building.

The Weller House is a lovely 1886 historic home converted into a small hotel. Many of the furnishings are period antiques, and each room is decorated with a different color scheme. Being an old house, it does possess some of the quirks inherent, like creaky floors and stairs everywhere, but it is completely charming. It is also located within walking distance from much of the central downtown area. Two thumbs up!

Beautiful historic property with lush gardens. Each room is themed with distinctive decor and lots of character (The Emerald and Ruby rooms are stunning). Lovely owners who give local tips and had warm cookies available on check in. Tea and coffee available, self serve. Hang out in the charming library, cool ballroom on the upper floor, or the garden or gazebo. There are also three guest rooms in the water tower annex. Easy walking distance to Skunk Train and downtown Fort Bragg eateries. Overall a delight.

Best customer service we’ve ever experienced. The place is absolutely charming, and the freshly baked cookies are such a sweet touch. It truly feels like home. Plus, it’s just a 3-minute walk from the Skunk Train, and everything is conveniently close by.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Weller House. I arrived on Tuesday and was the only guest there after the 3 day Memorial Weekend. Perfect for me as I had the place to myself. I was greeted by Sunny who is one of the owners along with her husband Jeff. Both were helpful in giving me tips on where to visit while in Ft Bragg. The house is amazing. Each of the rooms different than the next. It really depends on your needs. I had the “Romantic Room” with a fireplace, only for aesthetics I imagined. I The entry, reception and coffee/tea area as well as library was like stepping back in time. The surroundings grounds with the garden, fire pit area and tower viewing deck just added to the charm. Thank you so much for the hospitality and conversations. Highly recommend staying here if ever in Ft Bragg.
