The front desk attendant almost charged me double. One of the reasons we stayed at this hotel was for the hot tub, which was closed. And in the room next to us, abnormally loud thuds happened all night that sounded like they were moving furniture. Was not the stress free restful vacation I was hoping for.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Better than average breakfast and delicious coffee from the new machines that grind and brew fresh beans for each cup. I have been staying at this hotel for years when I go on mushroom foraging trips. I even had a nice forest view this time. I highly recommend this place for Mendocino coast visits.

I called 2 days ahead and said we were bringing a dog. Then when we arrived they acted like they never got a call so they could charge me $100 instead of $25. If you have a dog make sure you get the name of who ever you inform. Very underhanded and dishonest.
