Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and Tryon International Equestrian Center are close by, as well as, Gardner Webb University all within a nice 30 min drive. Forest City and Rutherford County are a great central starting point for exploring all that Western NC and the foothills have to offer.

What a great house! This was by far the cleanest and most well appointed VRBO we've ever been in. Hot chocolate and bottled water ready to go in the kitchen and makeup towels and feminine products handy in the bathrooms. Beds, pillows, linens, new electronics and appliances were top notch. Great location to be close to Rutherfordton and not far from chimney rock and lake lure. Also just 2 blocks from the best ice cream shop we've ever been to. We'll for sure be back to this one!

The place was just as advertised. It was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. They provided coffee and detergent for the laundry and dishwasher. The hosts were quick to reply and very helpful. We would book this again!
