The room was maintained very well and had all the necessary utilities for our short-term stay. Safe parking was provided and it was easy to shift our luggage to and from the room. One can drive into the shopping area which is about 5 mins drive. As it was the weekend after 5pm most shops were closed, except for some like Dominoes, Chinese restaurants, KFC.... Note: perhaps they should consider replacing the "tired" items.

The photos don’t even reflect what you’re booking.no towels in room, incorrect rooms given for late check in resulting in a child sleeping on the floor as we couldn’t get into any other room. 2 towels given for 6 people with no offer to remedy this. Booking mix up blamed on us booking not directly with motel. Mattress was firm and good.

Staff were very accommodating for our late arrival. Room was nice and simple but everything you need for an overnight stay. Comfy bed and the place nice and quiet. Shower was nice and hot in the morning. Thanks and will try and stay again if we are out that way. PS. Forbes has some nice history to see and interesting art around to find.

Never again.

I can only write about our two night's stay in Room 1. The office was unattended at 2.30 pm, rang the number on the office door and was told the key was in the door. Our room was next to a covered area where the other guests (workers) gathered for a drink and smoke at the end of their day. Also the laundry trolly's were stored permanently outside our door as the store room was next door. The room was tiny with an equally small shower that had a plastic curtain hanging from a very, very rusted curtain railing. There was a used shampoo bottle in the shower over looked by the cleaning staff. We also had to fix the toilet to stop the water that was continuously leaking from the cistern. If we hadn't prepaid for our two night's accommodation we would have left. The best thing to do with room 1 would be to pull out the bed and use it as a storeroom. This was our second stop in a three week drive around holiday and was far and away the worst accommodation we had in that time. Needless to say we would NEVER recommend the Ben Hall Motor inn. Forbes in itself is a lovely town just stay elsewere.
