The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was great. We chose it for the proximity to Le Shuttle and had a very early crossing so no breakfast! The only down side was that the building had scaffolding up and that spoiled the look and our view.

The room was clean, modern and it looked out over town to the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. The outside of the building had work done and the lift didn’t work but they were happy to carry luggage up to rooms.

The staff were all really happy and very friendly helpful on the check in desk.The bar had a nice feeling about it, again the staff were all lovely and happy to serve whatever cocktail we wanted. The main entrance and bar were well cared for and maintained,and our room was clean and large, we had a great view of the sea. The hotel was a couple of minutes walk from Leas Cliff Hall, and a picturesque walk into Folkestone high street, all very easy to get to,well situated.we got there by train,which was again easy to get to.

The breakfast menu was excellent, the staff on duty again excellent and helpful. The evening meal had a good range on the menu, your chef was very good and produuced quality fare. Very happy with the cleanliness of my room. the bar and front of house staff were very helpful. In fact the all the staff were a credit to the hotel.

Outstanding hotel the rooms were so so good And the view just spot on was very impressed with this hotel and the staff Folkestone has never been on my radar for a break, however after staying here on our way home from France we will definitely be staying here in the future if only to see the hotel and the staff
