This was a great property to stay at. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. The only reason I did not rate it with 5 stars is that our room card stopped working 2-3 times, which caused us to return to the service desk to get it reset, so we could get back into our room. I had a family emergency on our first night at the hotel. Unfortunately have to interrupted our vacation and fly back to Sao Paulo, Brazil. My sister called the hotel and explained the situation, the hotel refused to refund 7 days from my reservation, the manager told me the policy was no refund in any circumstances wirhout a drs note, how i could do that I was in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, my family lives in Sao Paulo and my husband and I live in the US. I was on vacation in Brazil visiting family and traveling. No compassionate, or understand that unfortunate emergencies occurs in any place, country or time. We plan this trip for few months and was cut sort.
