Overall okay place to stay. It's adjacent to their other property, and it looks like the one we stayed in gets the leftovers of the main one (furniture, mattresses, sheets, etc.). Somewhat clean room. Safe area and a nice staff. Expedia bookings do not get breakfast (extra $5.00, totally worth it, served at the other property across the street). Guests extremely noisy, banging doors late at night and at dawn, but it looks like that's a local problem rather than the hotel's.

Comfortable and clean not so great location

This was the second hotel we have stayed at in Florianopolis and the first in the old town having previously stayed near the Beira mar shopping center on the water front. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable however a little small with little more than 2 to 3 ft surrounding the bed. The staff were some of the most courteous and helpful we found during our time in Brasil. As a base for exploring the old town the hotel is close by, but we found very little options for evening meals and had to catch a taxi down to the waterfront to eat. Overall, if it is a one night stop over before the airport with a quick sightsee of the old town the afternoon before this is ideal but if you are staying longer I would recommend spending a little more on the accommodation and staying close to the Shopping center and restaurants as the area is much nicer and you won't spend a fortune on taxis.

Great Location

We're happy to stay there for three nights since it is very close to the bus station, shopping street and center. The buffet breakfast is very good. You can have a lot of options and fresh fruits. The staff are very nice but lack of information offering.

É a minha terceira hospedagem com o farol da ilha, em questao de limpeza do hotel e do quarto é nota 10 e fomos muito bem atendidos pelos funcionários. Dessa vez ficamos no terreo quarto 1, infelizmente não me agradou por conta que da para ouvir todo o barulho do saguão. O fato do hotel não ter café da manhã é um ponto negativo, apesar de oferecer café da manhã no faial. Deveria repensar em um espaço proprio para o café da manhã.

Camas erradas, grosseria da camareira.

Reservei um quarto com duas camas de solteiro, mas na hora do checkin nos entregaram um quarto de casal. Após eu comunicar a recepção, foi nos orientado a aguardar dentro do quarto que a governancia iria separar as camas. Ficamos aguardando 10 min, quando chegou uma camareira grosseira, não nos falou nem boa noite e sem educação nãos mandou sair do quarto para ela saparar as camas. Ela mandou a gente sair, nem pedindo colicença. Achamos muita falta de educação dessa camareira.

Hotel muito bem localizado no centro, o que facilita bastante o acesso a pontos turísticos, comércio e restaurantes. Estrutura confortável, ambiente agradável e equipe atenciosa, sempre pronta para ajudar. Excelente opção para quem busca praticidade e comodidade durante a estadia. Café da manhã pago(R$48,00) a parte no hotel ao lado, da mesma rede, vale muito a pena pois é completo e de qualidade, tendo um ponto a melhorar apenas no suco de laranja que não era natural. O estacionamento também é pago(R$36,00 a diária).
