Casa Tucano is one of those houses that makes you want to stay another day. Surrounded by greenery and with open sea views, the large veranda is the heart of the house: a place for slow breakfasts, gathering around the table or simply letting the afternoon drift by. Spacious and full of character, it comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests. In the garden, the barbecue, wood-fired stove and hammocks invite you to linger, with beaches, trails and waterfalls nearby.

Casa Tucano combines a spacious, characterful house with lush greenery all around. Its architecture, rustic elements and vintage pieces create a warm and unique atmosphere, designed for families and friends to come together and enjoy time together.

Bedrooms

The house has five bedrooms: one king-size bed, four double beds and one single bed, all prepared with complete bed linen and bath towels.

All bedrooms have screens on the windows, allowing you to enjoy the evening breeze.

Four bedrooms have air conditioning. The fifth has a ceiling fan and connects to another bedroom, making it especially practical for families with children.

Shared spaces

The open-plan kitchen connects with the living and dining areas and is the heart of the house — a place to prepare meals, gather around the table and spend hours talking.

Fully equipped, it includes a gas stove and oven, electric oven, wood-burning stove, microwave, air fryer and other kitchen utensils.

Fresh water from the nearby waterfall is available for drinking after being filtered through a traditional Brazilian clay filter.

The large veranda with sea views is one of the most special spaces in the house, with room for outdoor meals or simply enjoying the views over Pântano do Sul and Açores.

Leisure and time together

There are books, magazines, board games and a 65-inch Smart TV for movie nights. For those who want to stay active, there is also a table tennis table.

Outside, the barbecue, dining table, parasol, native garden and fire pit create different spaces for enjoying the late afternoon and evenings outdoors.

For guests who need to combine work and relaxation, the house has fast, stable fiber-optic internet, as well as work desks in two bedrooms.

Casa Tucano is surrounded by greenery and offers easy access to some of the most beautiful landscapes in southern Floripa.

It is just a few minutes from Matadeiro and Pântano do Sul beaches, the Lagoinha do Leste trail, the Sertão do Peri waterfalls and the Ribeirão da Ilha Gastronomic Route.

Around the house, toucans, azure jays, guans and other birds are part of the scenery. With a little attention, you may also spot some of the wildlife that inhabits the area.

Respectful surroundings

Casa Tucano is located in a residential and rural area. Parties and loud music are not permitted, helping preserve a peaceful and respectful environment for guests and neighbors.

Casa Tucano is located at the front of our property, offering the best sea view, on a plot of approximately 2,200 m² that includes two houses set in nature.

In addition to Casa Tucano (this listing), there is also Casa Juçara, which is likewise listed on Airbnb. The houses are independent from one another and separated by a large native garden and the barbecue area.

During your stay, you may be the only guests on the property, or the other house may be occupied, either by the owners or by other guests. For those seeking full exclusivity, it is possible to reserve both houses together (please see our listings).

The only shared spaces are the fire pit area and the parking area.

Casa Tucano offers two exclusive parking spaces within the property, located right next to the house, making arrival and luggage handling easy.

There is also public street parking available about 20 meters away, where spaces are usually easy to find. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Access to the property is through the main gate, which opens with a remote control. There is also a pedestrian entrance next to the electric gate.
