Florence made easy

Friendly staff. Close to lots of the touristy things so we could walk everywhere. Close to bus stop and Hop on hop off bus pick up. Lovely breakfast. Would stay here again

Just couple days here. Is bed breakfast type, NOT a hotel. The lady at desk is lovely and helpful, very friendly. but not there all the time. You are given keys to get in building then upstairs to rooms. Clean. Very small room. Snacks and things in your room for breakfast. Make your own coffee in hallway. Rather quaint.

Safe and comfortable

The room was comfortable and clean. They provided continental breakfast items and coffee maker. The wifi was good, except it was out one evening and the staff was already gone for the day. The location was a little far from the train station and main tourist sites. The area felt very safe and the building was very secure.

Live like a local

A good location in a residential area. It's about 20 minutes walk to the cathedral but every day it's interesting to see local life. I've often wondered what it's like behind the large wooden doors in many European cities. This was our chance to find out. The building was clearly a very fine residence in its day, and now most of one floor has been converted to this B&B with the rest of the building still as private homes. It was very quiet and a really good base to explore Florence

Superb location and a lovely B&B

Great location in walkable distance from both main train stations. Close to cafes, restaurants and bars. 15 minutes walk to The Duomo. A fabulous building and a lovely spacious comfortable room. Friendly and attentive reception staff. A good sized continental breakfast in the room each day with extra coffee, fruit,cake in the communal hallway. Can’t wait to go back!

A quaint place in a very convenient location

The hotel is very conveniently located, has its climate and is clean. The receptionist/manager is a very nice and helpful person. The downside of the hotel is its poorly functioning wifi, which works well only in the reception area but not inside the room. All in all taking everything into account I fully recommend the place.

Genuinely lovely

It was wonderful! Only about 10minutes walk to duomo. You seriously don't need to use a bus or taxi to get about. The room was always clean, the wifi was excellent and the staff were genuinely lovely. The staff really picked up on the details; I would drink a LOT of tea so I bought milk from the market and kept it in the fridge. As I was running out of milk, they kindly put a small pint in the fridge for me, with extra tea bags on the table! I was actually moved lol I will definitely stay here again! Thank you to all the staff that made the stay a wonderful experience!!

This place is a gem. Very comfortable, clean, evety small detail has been consideted. It felt like real home hospitality. They went out of their way to get special milk for my husband who is vegan. A minor issue was the small size of the elevator. We still managed to squeeze in 2 large suitcases and 2 carry ons.

Awesome location. Very nice!

The location was great. Susanna was very helpful with information about restaurants and bus routes. There are good restaurants in walking distance. We were also able to leave our bags there after we had checked out so that we could do some more sightseeing. Public parking garages are also within walking distance.

Comfortable respite from busy Florence

This cute little bed and breakfast was a nice respite from the busy, touristy areas of Florence. It was convenient enough to walk to and from. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Hotel was in a good location - quiet, yet easy walking distance to Uffuzi and viewpoint Piazzale Michelangelo. Campo di Marte train station is also easy walking distance. Rooms were dated but comfortable with a decent sized bathroom. Good value for money.

Atypical but nice!

It is located of the third floor of an office type building. You are given three keys upon arrival, one for the exterior door, one for the "apartment" and one got your room. Susannah the manager is pleasant but make sure you let her know if you are getting in late. I believe she leaves at 7. Breakfast is served in your room the day before consisting of pastries, packet toasts, etc. it was actually good. There are other food items in the hallway, fruits etc. I booked a double but the room had a double bed and a single bed. The room was nice and spacious and I had no complaints. It is located close to most sights and easy to get there by bus although we took a taxi to get there. Lots of restaurants close - had some really good food in the area. All in all, a nice place to stay!

Nice B&B if you enjoy walking

Me and my wife enjoyed our 4 nights stay. The hotel was in a young and vibrant neighbourhood. It is conveniently situated next to a couple of bus stops and taxi hub. However, we decided to walk everywhere which took us about 35-40 min from any of Florence major attraction. The room itself is VERY small but quiet and clean. Both of us decided against eating the breakfast as it was very poor.
