We enjoyed our stay here. We had a nice clean room, and really enjoyed having a separate bedroom loft upstairs. The hotel check-in as well as the breakfast were a few blocks away, which was just a minor inconvenience. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, many different options to suit any taste, really great coffee, and amazing views of the heart of Florence. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location but the music and noise in the square went quite late making it hard to sleep. If you like to go to sleep before 23:00, this may not be ideal. Breakfast was at a restaurant down in the square and was excellent.

A lovely and convenient place to stay when visiting Florence! Tucked away off of Piazza della Repubblica, the location was excellent for it’s proximity to the city centre and with key landmarks all within walking distance. We had no issues with noise despite being so close to a tourist hotspot! Staff were all lovely, especially those working at the rooftop breakfast buffet at Hotel della Signoria. Check in/check out/breakfast also happens at Hotel della Signoria but it is located very close to the Repubblica B&B (< 5 min. walk). Room was clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of amenities in order to make our stay feel perfect. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Florence!

We loved our stay at B&B La Repubblica! The location was just perfect, few minutes walk from the main sites like the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. The room was spacious and had an amazing view of the square! Breakfast was served at the sister hotel La Signoria (only few minutes walk) on the 7th floor, we really enjoyed eating while admiring the stunning view! Delicious breakfast, lots of choice, some amazing local options and all super fresh. All the staff was helpful, kind and professional. I would highly recommend this property!

Enjoyed my stay here in Florence. Check in pretty straight forward, you go to a separate hotel and then a member of staff walks you to your room which is about a 5 minute walk through the streets of Florence. It’s situated in a lovely square, and a very short walk to the Duomo with some good restaurants outside the rooms. The room was nice and the bed very comfy. There is a lift too so you don’t have to walk up the stairs to the room. Perfect for a city break if your plan is to be out exploring for most of the time you’re there. Would happily stay here again.
