Overall this was not a great experience for us. It started out with zero response from the host. I had sent messages over a month before we got there and didn’t hear back at all. Concerned enough that I reached out to VRBO to make sure we even had a reservation. Then I heard back with a simple, ‘yes the reservation is confirmed. We will charge the guest’s credit card on..’ I didn’t receive any apology for not responding to inquiries, and no response to my question still! But finally, on the day we landed in Rome- I received the answer to my question. Very timely. As far as the apartment goes- A LOT of stairs so be aware of that! Also, the lighting in the bathroom was not great and that was where the only mirror was located. The AC was great, and the gentleman who checked us in to the apartment was very kind.
