A boutique hotel with style internally. Our particular room was small but comfortable with a good en-suite. Breakfast needs some variation of the cooked food. Very tasty but a week of bacon, sausage and scrambled egg got a bit boring. Well located within easy reach of most of the famous attractions. Be warned however you must validate your tickets on the trams or risk a 40 euro fine each if a squad of ticket inspectors come on!!!

Had a lovely 3 night stay at Orto de Medici Hotel with 2 friends. I was drawn to the hotel as they offered 3 single beds in a room and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Couldn't fault the service, every member of staff we encountered was so polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! If I am ever back in Florence I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

The front desk staff were very helpful from check in to calling taxis and making dinner reservations. All the staff had friendly greeting. The ladies at breakfast hustled. The location was good, close enough to walk but not in the busy area.

A+, location, staff and property were amazing

My wife and I spent our honeymoon, and her birthday at Hotel Orto de Medici. The staff was extremely thoughtful and accommodating. Judith at the front desk is an all star, and so is Alessandro in the bar! We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area. It was no further than 15-20 mins on foot to everything you would want in Florence. We certainly got our steps in but the property certainly made up for it at what we felt was great value.
