Real 'wow' factor from the large wooden door on the street, through the courtyard and up the stairs. We were shown to our suits - as the door swung open it was stunning - the huge king-size bed, free standing bath for two, waterfall shower all framed by a breathtaking arched ceiling. Breakfast was amazing - freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee, selection of pastries/cake, breads, pancakes, fruit - just everything really. Despite being in the heart of the city, the room was so quiet and dark - perfect for a great nights sleep. With loads to explore, great places to eat on the doorstep we had an amazing stay.

The suite was beautiful and the owner and staff wonderful. There were a great assortment of breakfast foods from fresh cheese to hard boiled eggs and bacon, yogurt, along with meats and sweets. Added plus of cardio workout as there is no lift and about 80 steps! I am thankful that I traveled with my young daughter who served as my Sherpa going up and down with luggage. I will be back someday with just a backpack 😊

In a great location in the middle of Florence. Fab Taverna next door which was delicious. There are about 3 flights of steps to get up the guesthouse and no lift. This didn’t put us off but something to note if you have mobility issues.

My wife and I booked the suite. I would again in a heartbeat. As Florence was not our favorite city in Italy during our 2 weeks, this room made our 5 nights there incredible. Relaxing, clean, quiet, and just unique and very comfortable. We spent time just hanging out in our room with a drink or a book, out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was great as well and close to our room. Very clean facilities. You do have to be comfortable climbing stairs as there is no lift, but this was no trouble for us and did not bother us one bit. The location as well was phenomenal based on attractions and sights to see with tons of restaurants around. This room does not disappoint, and I am so glad I booked it.
