From the first night of our three-night stay, we were confronted with a very unpleasant and persistent sewer odor in our room. I immediately reported this concern to the reception, and although maintenance was sent to address the issue, their efforts were limited to spraying chemicals and attempting to clear the drain. Unfortunately, the smell of the chemicals only worsened the situation, and the foul odor persisted throughout our stay.
As the nights went on, the problem did not improve, and on our final night, the situation became unbearable. The sewer gas had completely infiltrated the room, making it extremely uncomfortable and unhealthy to stay inside. This was especially concerning because my son has asthma, and the strong odors and chemical fumes aggravated his breathing.
Despite repeatedly communicating our concerns to the hotel staff, including the front desk, no effective solution or room change was offered. Their responses were polite but unhelpful, and we felt ignored as paying guests.
