We did not have a balcony view which was ok with us. It was very quiet when we were in our room. The location was perfect for the surrounding area. No elevator, only stairs but it worked out for us. I would definitely stay here again. Perfect location.

The room was nice and the location can not be beat. It's close to everywhere you want to be, and we absolutely loved the city. The room itself is simple, and all you really need if you aren't staying there much. The baclony is small but pleasant if you don't mind heights. However, read the reviews about the stairs, there are so many stairs! Lol. We read this and knew about it, but the reality is that in July the stairs are no fun.

Staff were great, and had good recommendations. Be prepared to climb the stairs. Unless you book the room with a bath and shower it's shared. Building is obviously old, can't hold that against it. Location right by the duomo is great.

The owners are very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I received great recommendations for food and entertainment. Even though the hotel is steps from high-traffic tourist areas, it was still quiet and relaxing.

We had a family room (one king and two twin beds). The hotel is difficult to find as it’s not marked outside so make sure you take down the address. There are 32 steps up to the floor where the hotel is located. The one twin bed is up against a fireplace so it’s hard to get in/out of and has a marble mantle over it so be careful not to hit your head. The hotel is in a great location and able to get everywhere in about 10 minutes by walking. It is very loud though and there is construction near by which is also loud
