The staff was wonderful and we loved the location- everything was walkable and we explored daily. The beds were uncomfortable, the shower was hard to manage and not flood the bathroom, and it was very loud even with the window closed. The staff provided a very thin mattress pad when asked but it was no more than an inch with no support so unfortunately it did not help, but they were very eager to fix the problem.

Air conditioning doesn’t work and there’s no any instructions for how to run the air conditioning. There are lots of shops nearby and its location and public transportation are convenient. Another little problem is there no drinking water and hot water supplies.

Very nice and interesting hotel located in Oltrarno, the artsy, lively area of Florence center, but a few blocks away from the crowds. Location is excellent! The hotel is quiet and has a wonderful history. I would stay there again.

The staff were really nice and accommodating with a really late check-in. The location was very convenient and the room was clean and very comfortable. There is a fantastic corner café that we visited daily and a last Sunday of the month farmers market that we stumbled upon and loved the goat yogurt that we bought! Despite ALL the positives, the noise level was overwhelming. We were there for 5 nights and there were laughing, screaming, and even crying girls in the hallway and patio for all the nights well past 11pm. We probably could have said something to the staff but didn't want to bother. If you don't mind the noise, the place can be very ideal.
