Fabulous location , authentic Italian vibe , coffee and croissant breakfast at local cafe felt part of the local population . Two flights of steps up to the accommodation . Host very kind kept in touch by phone when plane was late and welcoming and helpful . Cleaner very helpful .

Great location. Coffee, croissant and juice in the coffee shop next door included. Room was nice but lacking basic comforts like towel hangers, clothes hangers and soap containers. No blanket (just sheets) on the bed so we had to use bath towels to cover ourselves at night . Host did not respond to our request . No coffee machine or kettle with tea bags. Cleaning stuff coming in every day to clean and add more towels. No choice to opt-out as we didn't care for this service for a short stay. Location made out for it all!

This started off as a terribly. The place is listed as a hotel but it’s actually and B&B plus the contact phone number is incorrect. The only way we knew that was when the phone line kept going dead and we tried the post it note on the plaque on the building. The AC didn’t work we tried to work and the staff just kept saying it was working the day before and that it must be working. There was no shower door like it was literally broken or missing no mention of that in the listing either. The only bright side was the location.

The room was clean and very prity, and in a wonderful location minutes from the Douma, Uffizi Galary and The David. We had the blue room and the bathroom was big, shower was in excellent condition, with usual ammenities. Houskeeping came by each day to make the bed and drop off towels. Unfortunatly, the mattress was not good and should be replaced, the AC wont handle a warm day, and there is no in-room coffee maker or hot water kettle. The breakfast is a voucher to the resturant next door. If the matress was better, a new AC or even a fan, and a coffee maker avalible, I would have given a better review. Also, be sure to contact the host a day or two before to give time of arrival, we did and he was there to greet us, but left after that and you have to call him for any issues. This could be a very comfortable place with a few simple upgrades.

Beautiful old building in a great location. Very walkable to Tram and city attractions. We wanted to love the property because it has pretty character but it is run down. Stairwell up to rooms smells bad. Shower drain was badly clogged. AC did not work. In room coffee/amenities are not refilled and ran out after one night. TV remote didn’t work. There is no staff on property so communication is through WhatsApp. Nobody replies to messages so communication is terrible. Forget getting more in room coffee. After a sleepless night with terrible AC and bad shower we waited hours for a reply on WhatsApp regarding issues. We finally just moved to a different hotel because it was so hot in the room. We finally heard something from the property after we left but I wouldn’t bother staying here. Our room was 300 per night and should have been in working order for that money. Disappointing.

No tea or coffee facilities, dirty bathroom, someone else's hairy soap was left in shower, blocked sink, smell of drains. No one for check in you have to ring and then follow WhatsApp instructions. Breakfast is down street in nearby cafe, this is a coffee and pastry which was ok. Location of property excellent.

The location can’t be beat. This is an Airbnb type property and the office isn’t staffed - I missed the message sent from them in advance of check in so we had to wait for someone to come over to check us in (about 20 mins) The building is old and a bit dirty but the room was cool - high ceilings, overlooking the street, great old marble floors etc. The breakfast is included at a little coffee shop a couple doors down and was adequate.

Good 4-night stay. Room was large and clean. Check-in was easy and communication through WhatsApp was smooth and helpful. Great location for exploring the city. We especially loved having a balcony, used it often. There’s an excellent restaurant right across the street (Cantinetta Cavour), which was a nice bonus, but it’s Florence and there’s solid options on every block. As noted by others, breakfast is minimal and served at a nearby café, but the staff there were friendly and we got into a nice routine: americano to go with a quick croissant, and it worked just fine for us.

My reservations was for nine days. The first two days were fine. Days 3 through 5 were awful. There was a power outage each day. The outage varied from 5 hours to over 12 hours per day. It was over 102°. I was forced to leave my room earlier than I wanted and walk around in the sweltering heat. Didn't have wifi or internet access. I was not able to charge my phone and my medication that needed to remain refrigerated went bad. Days 6 through nine was fine. Even with the power working, my my room still was uncomfortable do the air conditioner not cooling it down. There is no physical staff here, only communication is through WhatsApp. I was promised a 50% refund for each night I was without power. Today as im ready to check out, I'm told they will only refund for two days. The location is wonderful. As a 60 year old female traveling alone, I was forced to figure how to get my luggage down the stairs. Gonzalo was my point of contact and he met me at the property to check and to give me my keys. Each day the power was out, I did not receive housekeeping. My sheets were not changed. I did receive clean towels. I will never stay here again. Poor customer service. 😡
