Our hosts were the highlight of our stay, as they were so kind and made us feel so welcome. The room itself (Honeymoon suite) was beautiful, with some exposed stone, but with modern finishings. Lounging in the room was almost as good as exploring the city! Breakfast was also fabulous, prepared with care. There are a few flights of stairs to the property but the hosts are willing to help bring bags up. Location couldn't be better.

Beautiful hotel with an incredibly polite and welcoming staff. The receptionist, Robbie (Rebecca), was outstanding and truly made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, and if you book a water-view room with the mountains in the background, the scenery is absolutely surreal. Although the hotel is located directly across from the train station and you can hear the trains, it didn’t bother my wife or me at all—the breathtaking setting more than made up for it. This is the place to stay if you want to see the sites in Florence. It is literally next to the Duomo and all the amazing stores and restaurants. Even though the streets are noisy- you will not hear anything when in the hotel. It is on the third floor and has no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up and down the stairs. Breakfast is fresh and wonderful and the staff are very helpful and kind.
