Right across the street from main train station. Public transportation within 1 block. 10 minute walk to Duomo area. Good rooms, fine breakfast, helpful staff. Small grocery store around the corner. We’ve stayed here twice and will stay again if we return to Firenze.

The Ambassador Hotel in Florence was situated. Conveniently 2 mins from Santa Maria Novella train station. The staff were friendly and the hotel was pleasant. I had a single room which was small but adequate. The staff were friendly, and I really liked the girl who worked in the bar. Her name was Victoria.

It located in a very good location. The breakfasts were a bit chaotic given the number of guests. But the biggest issue is the shower. It’s a shower in a both and the bath is like an ice rink with no hand rail. For someone over 60 it’s a huge risk to take a shower. Other than that great.
