One word...Exceptional!

Clean, beautiful, cozy, and everything you need for a relaxing stay near the water. Large dock is a short distance down the hill and water is clear. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and features a porch swing and wicker furniture for watching the water or lightning storms. Kitchen was fully stocked, even had a pizza cutter! We loved staying at this little gem! Owners were great and very responsive. Hope to visit again soon. Check out the local restaurant Ash's. Less than a mile away and great food. We did take out to enjoy the cottage more!

Perfect for relaxing

This place is set up perfectly for relaxing. The screened in porch overlooking the lake was beautiful. The dock and sandy sore line was great for fishing and swimming. Inside, the home was warm and cozy. It had everything you could use in the kitchen. Super clean and well taken care of. The only downside is getting from the house to the back yard required walking back out main entrance, around the side of the house and down an uneven yard. It did not stop us from using the backyard, but you can see it is a work in progress. I would absolutely recommend this place to those that want to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

Perfect getaway

The perfect spot for a weekend away. We had perfect weather to enjoy the water and screened in porch. Spent very little time inside. But the air conditioning was truly appreciated with the heat and humidity. Will be back!

Awesome family trip!

Cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Lake was gorgeous and so fun. We had young kids and the beach is perfect for kids to wade in the water as well as fish off the dock. There is a huge bass under the dock so bring your bass fishing gear!

Lovely Northern Wisconsin Destination

We were happy to have discovered this property located on our favorite fishing location. We’ve fished here for about 40 years and this was the second time we were able to stay on the lakes. Spread Eagle Cottage

We were pleasantly suurprised by the updates to the cottage. The new colors, flooring and furniture greatly updates the cottage. We were in the area to visit family. After our long drive from Texas the cottage was a good place to relax. When we asked Curtis if we could extend our stay by one day, he was very accommodating.

Best Decision Ever!

It was 7 of us in total. Super comfortable! Gorgeous view from the sliding doors, amazing screened porch, additional seating below porch for bonfires, quiet respectful neighbors, and a dock perfect for doing some fishing and swimming. Although the cabin is well stocked with all the necessary amenities, Walmart is 15 minutes away. Beds are extremely comfortable. I would 100% recommend it for all.

Best Place to Stay

Lovely cottage. Right on the water. The beds were so comfortable and the house is on a dead end street so it’s very quiet with no traffic. The house has everything you need from a grill, to an outdoor fireplace with seating, fishing poles for the kids to fish off the dock. There is a big screened in second floor patio that has a gorgeous view of the lake. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone.
