This hotel is in the perfect position in Florence, not only for exploring the city but also just 5 minutes walk to Santa Maria Novella Rail station . The room was spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows extremely comfy. Great breakfast selection both hot and cold, and friendly helpful staff.

Being a seasoned traveler, I felt this was more of a 4 star hotel experience than a 3 star. Lovely breakfast and daily aperitivo in the lobby. The property is old in a classic way, but not dated. Very convenient to station and all the florentine sites/sights.

Lovely stay at the hotel Alba. Rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Hotel is located roughly 5 minutes from train station, which is very convenient. It is also no more than maybe 20 minutes to most attractions (by foot). Breakfast in the morning was tasty and all the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

The room was clean and offered a kettle to make tea or coffee. They also included a Nespresso machine to make espresso in the morning. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had great temperature and pressure. The breakfast spread they offered was also amazing with a lot of variety. I wasn’t able to get the AC to work in the room but the nights were quite cold so we were able to crack the windows to keep the room cozy at night.
