Comfortable large room, no lift and it's on the third floor. Even the street parking is expensive, No parking available onsite.

Great location, the room and facilities were very clean and cozy. The common area had an espresso machine and purified water and snacks. The host Shaila was very friendly and hospitable and presented us with gifts and useful information upon arrival. There was a balcony in our room with an excellent view of the lush neighborhood. The building was minutes away from the various bridges that lead into downtown and the famous Pegaso bakery was just around the corner. Highly recommended, we had a great time in Florence at the 1900 Artevita, thanks again for everything!

Shaila was wonderful and very accommodating. Unfortunately the pictures make the room look better then it actually was. Almost felt like a dorm room. Luke warm showers, someone else's hair in the shower, very worn floor. Dated furniture. You could hear everyone else on the floor. Cold AC, walking distance to train. Nice restaurants near by.

I won’t recommend staying here…

Communication was good with the hotel, apart from that, everything just didn’t stand out for me. I get that most of the top hotels in Florence are expensive and this was one of the affordable ones and this is obviously not 5-star, I won’t stay here again. Wifi was bad. In our 3-4 days stay, it only worked half of the time. And when it did work, it was slow. The location wasn’t the best. Apart from a bus stop nearby, it’s not the most convenient. We ended up walking 30mins one day under the Firenze heat as the bus drivers had a strike - again not their fault. The nearest tram station is a good 15min walk. Very few restaurants nearby. Just not a lot of things happening - it is a residential area so I get that. Two bakeries as well. The rooms need serious upgrading. Old and there was a bit of smell coming out from the toilet. Lastly, be prepared to pay for the city tax. We were not told about this in advance, and although it was just €34 but we were a bit surprised. First time I have experience this in my many visits to Italy.

Good place to stay, could use some updates in the every day items like linens, shower curtains, etc. if you’re not a picky traveler this is a good spot to stay. The hosts were great - very nice and communicative. The AC was a life saver at night as well.

The property was clean and the amenities were good. It is about a 25-40 minutes walk to the historic district. There is a supermarket near by, we were able to buy picnic items and anything we forgot.

I would recommend for a shorter stay (a week) as there really isnt a kitchen facility (not one where I would cook) The shared kitchen space is great for storing things and making quick dishes but not a lot of prep room. Its walking distance to everything. The staff are super helpful.
