Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. Although it was very clean and the patio was huge, the safe did not work, the wifi did not work, the door did not lock properly, the pool did not even have water. In the morning we went down for breakfast but at 8:10 am they were already out of food. We had a 2 night stay booked but checked out and moved to another hotel.

Indifferent staff, bad room = bad experience

We arrived late and just wanted to get our room and sleep. Night clerk was indifferent at best, no information on hotel amenities, breakfast times, Wi-Fi etc… We were in Fiuggi for a romantic weekend. The room did not add to that. First flag of trouble was when we got to the door, as we put the key in the lock, the door swung open, made a mental note to use the room safe. Only problem was could not, it was locked. The room had a musty smell, top of the wardrobes were filthy. My partner went to freshen up in the lav, came out and pointed out there were pubic hairs on the bidet and sink, the shower was missing one of the two doors. The bed was a disaster area, every time I leaned up on my elbow, the elbow would push all the way through to the bed frame. Breakfast did not any better. Selection was Spartan at best. Bread was stale white bread no toaster. Wait staff was equally indifferent. In the reservation I stated we wanted a quiet weekend. It felt like the staff decided to screw with us by giving us a room that clearly should not have been in service, the room was at the elevator lobby so all stay we heard everyone in the hall. We identified the issues to the front desk in the morning. Fiuggi is my partner’s home town, there was no translation errors, the clerk showed no surprise to the issues other than the Pubic hairs. What surprised me was no effort was made to fix any of the problems or offer compensation, I guess I’m spoiled on Hilton’s Make It Right policy.

Struttura che ai suoi tempi poteva anche rispondere ad un 4 stelle, ma negli anni non si è aggiornata, proprio in termini di servizi offerti al cliente, dalla pulizia delle camere molto ma molto insoddisfacente alla colazione pressoché inesistente. Mobilio datato, ma non è questo il problema, se fosse stato almeno tenuto bene. Il personale è stato abbastanza gentile. La zona piscina tenuta alquanto bene è tranquilla. Può essere considerato un sufficiente 3 stelle forse.

Bella la piscina, illuminata la sera ancora più bella. Ci si può coricare su un lettino e rilassarsi anche in ore notturne. Alla reception grande cortesia e disponibilità da parte del personale presente. L'hotel è pulito ovunque, sia in camera che nelle parti comuni. Presenza di serranda elettrica e di un Wi-Fi ottimamente funzionante. La nostra camera era dotata di un balconcino con due sedie, il parcheggio è ampio numericamente: alcuni possono parcheggiare nel cortile dell'hotel, altri in un'area verde posta di fronte all'ingresso. La zona è tranquilla e si dorme nel silenzio. Comodo il materasso, frigo bar davvero efficiente. Migliorabili l'arredo datato, occorre però considerare che si risparmia qualcosa rispetto ad altre soluzioni. La TV è troppo piccola. La colazione è di tipo basic: manca il salato, non c'è il pane, presenti delle fette biscottate. Anche i prodotti del bagno sono di tipo basic

Personale molto gentile, vicino al centro di Fiuggi. La struttura dovrebbe però essere rimodernata, soprattutto le stanze in cui si ha l'impressione che siano arredate con materiale spaiato e riciclato. Nella nostra stanza mancava il frigobar, un appoggio per le valigie e persino il filtro del lavandino. I muri erano scrostati e mancava il numero della stanza (311) tanto da essere costretti ad andare per esclusione. Non basta avere una piccola piscina e una palestra per meritare quattro stelle.
