Very big room with cooking equipment, washing machines etc. Food and drink at the bar is better and with reasonable price. There is a path near the level 2 to the summit, so people who stays at resort can use card to access and use the path.

We had an amazing time at the Fitzroy Island Resort! At every point - from the reception desk, to the wait staff, to the activities personnel, the staff was kind and helpful. The location itself could not be more beautiful. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Hotel desperately need an update on all amenities. The rooms are dated and old. Everything is just a bit run down. The pool bar is screaming for help. I went to order a drink and took one look at the ice machine and said no mould to that mould infestation. The staff look and act as unmotivated as the dated amenities. The only real cafe serves C grade deep fried food. It’s incredibly disappointing. The hotel is nice enough to create a relaxing vibe and the location is a 10! Right on the water. So nice waking up to the sound of the ocean. But yeh overall that hotel is a 3 star at most.

The resort is in general in a very poor state. While there seems to have been a soft refurb of some rooms and the Zephyr restaurant, I’m glad I only stayed one night. This must have been a beautiful property in its day but appears to have been left to neglect. No one seems in charge. The staff are lovely & the setting is spectacular, with a great pool. Didn’t feel clean at all. It screamed backpacker. It wasn’t that bad but I had to get my backpacker mindset on to enjoy.

The resort id a bit dated and at times a bit unclean but who cares. The island is fantastic. When the day trippers left we virtually had the island to ourselves. The staff were wonderful. Special mentions Hannah reception, the wonderful woman in the dive shop, her kindness in helping us with snorkels and stinger suits and Francesco at the bar. Hannah was so kind making sure we got home from a challenging hike. We loved it so much we stayed a day longer. Thank you all for a wonderful trip.

Island style! Super quiet as the resort is the only place on the island and surrounded by steep hills and dense tropical jungle. Not much to do in the evening but the restaurant offers a limited but very creative menu. Room was spacious with a separate dining and sitting areas and all the rooms had a water view along with the deck as well. Very peaceful. There was great snorkeling only steps away from the room. Also a number of fairly challenging hikes in the park with surprisingly well maintained trails. Lots of steps!! A great workout, Large and sparsely used beaches although they are mostly coral so foot ware is required and the soft sandy spots are few. You want a quiet tropical island escape, Fitzroy Island is for you.
