"Absolutely wonderful mountain hotel! A little off the beaten path, so you’ll do best with your own car. The location was picturesque, the food and service excellent, and the room was amazing at a great value! Beautiful outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountainside. My only word of caution is the reception desk has limited hours (doesn’t open till 0800) so plan accordingly if you want to check out earlier. Also, breakfast opens at 0730 so there is no coffee available before that time. Very drivable distance to and from Neuschwanstein Castle. I highly recommend it to any traveler looking for a quiet paradise in the Austrian Alps. "

"Et super dejligt ophold, som startede med en imødekommende engelsktalende receptionist, som forklarede om stedet og forholdene. Vi fik en plads i p-kælderen (mod betaling), som var helt genialt, da pladserne ude på gaden var meget trænge. Værelset var virkelig lækkert. God størrelse, vanvittig udsigt og udstyret med alt hvad man kunne ønske: to håndvaske, minibar, walk-in closet, balkon, aircondition og en meget god (og stor!) seng. Hotellet lå rigtig godt i forhold til vandreruter, og især en tur til Hochgratbahn og Alpsee kan anbefales. Morgenmaden var også super lækker. God service, godt udvalg og hyggelige omgivelser. Faktisk er “hyggelig” et gennemgående element. For alt var hyggeligt. Stedet, lejligheden, spa-området og omgivelserne. Kan kun anbefale dette sted og det er bestemt ikke sidste gang vi besøger byen og hotellet. Et tip: Reserver plads på de omkringliggende restauranter i god tid. Vi måtte gå forgæves flere gange, da der ikke var plads. Men mange af stederne tilbyder også takeaway."

"We had a overall great stay at this property during our trip to Allgäu-Oberstdorf. The hotel room was spacious and clean, furniture were a little dated, but still in good condition. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, staff and service were friendly. Would definitely stay again when I’m the area."

"Firstly I received a call from a person from the hotel on the day of arrival that they are overbooked and wanted to offer me other hotel instead. I defined as I wanted to stay there for a good facilities they had. Then we arrived to hotel and most of wellness facilities weren’t working. Only one sauna of 4 was working and all water supply was broken, so after sauna you couldn’t take any cold shower. That was really annoying as we primarily wanted to stay there because of facilities. Staff didn’t offer any solutions neither. Overall hotel is very very old and I would rate it for 2-3 stars not for 4.5. Very disappointed by a stay there."
