Wonderful hosts, couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming. Accommodation tidy and clean with lots of towels available. However, seating was uncomfortable and the frypan coating had worn away. But Lorraine and Pete provided fresh lettuce and herbs straight from the garden which were wonderful and something no one else has provided. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Feilding Fair

We had travelled to Feilding to attend the Craft Fair and couldn’t believe how close the accommodation was. A lovely tidy bungalow that was clean and cosy and had everything we needed. It was a pleasure to sit outside in the sun and take in the rural environment. So relaxing!

Kawakawa Cottage proved a very good base for our recent tramping trip to the Manawatu. It was nice and clean and convenient to town. The shower was very good, given that six of us were requiring showers after a day's walking. The beds weren't great. We had to fix the springs on one of the chairs, but then it was fine. Lorraine was good to liaise with.
