We enjoyed our stay at Rachel's VRBO. The home was clean, roomy and comfortable. We had a nice family reunion there. I contacted Rachel after our stay, about a few suggestions. She did not reply very quickly to emails, or supply a contact phone number for questions, if problems came up.Our observations: 1) Bath towels were luxurious, thick and soft, however the wash cloths were a bit rough.2) There weren't any kitchen dish cloths or towels provided... only one hand towel, and no liquid dish soap only dishwasher detergent. 3) There was no kleenex available....only toilet paper and paper towels.4) There was a coffee maker provided, but no coffee. A few "welcome" coffee pods would have been a nice gesture.5) We had to try and figure out how the various TV remotes work. Some pre-printed instructions would have been helpful. 6) The ice maker and water to the refrigerator door weren't working or hooked up. We couldn't access any ice, so we went out and bought a bag to use.7) We thought about baking, but there were no baking pans or casseroles available for use... only pots and frying pans.8) Figuring out the various ceiling fans and which switches controlled them was an issue. We advised Rachel, to maybe use a labeler, to mark what is what?9) The fiberglass tub/shower floor in the master was very slippery and could be a hazard.Overall, it is a lovely home and we hope Rachel takes our suggestions to heart. We would definitely book it again in the future.
