Definitely not luxury, a lot of noise from neighbours and poor low quality towels and amenities in the room with no room safe working. The staff member Pedro was lovely, but sadly this is far from a luxury hotel.

Great location in Faro. Walking distance to shops and dining. Very close to the airport. The room was very big compared to most rooms we stayed at and the property itself was very nice with a pool area.

Great base for a few days

Wanted a place to stay for a few days in Faro, couldn’t have picked a better place. Went for the upgraded room with balcony and whirlpool bath and no regrets, perfect room, very quiet and comfy. Staff were very friendly (thank you Pedro) and felt like a home away from home for a few days, just comfy and clean. Only a few minutes walk from the city center. Would happily return.

Great stay

We had such a lovely stay at Opus One! We were surprised with a free room upgrade which was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming – a big thank you to Pedro for being so helpful and making us feel at home. The location couldn’t be better, everything in Faro is just a short walk away. We’d definitely come back!

We booked this hotel for our young adult daughter. Her plane got diverted and finally landed in Faro close to midnight and the hotel was so very accommodating and were still able to provide paid shuttle service. My daughter was more than happy with the room for being clean, spacious and comfy bed.

Honestly superb. The decor is lovely and clean. The service was impeccable the hotel staff were amazing and accommodating. If I found myself back in Faro this would be the only place I would want to stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was easily walkable to shopping and dining in addition to the bus and train stations. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a large balconly overlooking the pool. We enjoyed both the pool (although it was a little cool for my taste) and the pool table quite frequently. Additionally, the staff was kind and gracious. I only gave a 4 out of 5 rating because the property itself needs a little TLC with some refurbishing projects which, as explained to us, the new owners are quite well aware of and have plans to address soon. All that aside, i would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area.
