I was impressed with this property. The hotel room is spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated. I loved the bed, both firm and soft at the same time. If I ever come back to Fargo, I will definitely stay at the Donaldson.

I like the hotel, but they left me embarassed with this room. Black organic matter came out of the jets of the infinity tub upon filling. Starting the jets was horrific black matter everywhere. Nice room but gross. I only got the room for the tub feature. Its honestly over half of the room sq footage. I told the staff in the morning nicely. They just told me my bill for room with be emailed. This does not set well with me.

Cool refurbished building with large, airy, comfortable room. Excellent bar/restaurant on first floor of building, great burger and beers place right across the street. There are other nice restaurants within a block, great coffee shop a few doors down. Parking was off site in a public garage a block away (seemed safe and cost $9 for the night). Near a nice riverside park for walking or biking. The price is a great value compared to the usual chain hotels. The street by the hotel is fairly busy/noisy. The area around the hotel has a fair amount of unhoused individuals, but did not feel unsafe.

The staff went above and beyond. We just had a fabulous time. The room was amazing with the biggest tv I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. It’s a smaller, intimate hotel with a great location downtown.

Unique, fun boutique hotel

Interesting, unique property in historic building. High ceilings and comfortable furnishings. Nice fun touches like turndown service and music from local musicians playing on the room's stereo upon retuen in the evening. Helpful staff.
