Wonderful hotel, very calm and clean. Great amenities for its location (pool, gym, ping pong table and entertainment for kids), delicious dinner menu and abundant breakfast options with lots of choices for everyone and every need possible. Free parking. Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Very spacious and clean bathroom. We will definitely stay here again for a third time next year! Thank you!

This hotel is beautiful on the inside. Large and comfortable rooms with amazingly comfy beds that are reclining. Huge clean bathroom, tons of electric outlets in the room. The lobby and restaurant is also very stylish with plenty of space, yet gives a cozy atmosphere with lighting and a fireplace. The food at dinner was great, and there was a huge selection at breakfast. Something for everyone! They even have a games room for kids to play foozeball or Ping pong. We didn’t have time to check out the pool, but we will be back next year!

A smile and some kindness pays off

This is the kind of hotel where i’m willing to drive an extra 75 km in order to come back. Especially because of the personal at the reception. The hotel was under construction but that does not mean anything if you are welcomed with a genuine smile and so much friendly faces. Employee offered me a cup of coffee during check in, showed interest in the guests and showed maximum flexibility. 10-10. With every future visit to the Dala region I’m coming back here. Please share my complements with the front office staff, they are gold for your hotel.

You can’t predict who your neighbors will be

This hotel has a beautiful view from the upper floors, so beautiful you might want to lie in bed and just watch the clouds and trees (we spent time doing just that!). The Murphy bunks are a great idea, and more hotels should jump on that idea. We missed having an electric kettle/coffee maker in the room, but we can see space is limited. Our stay would be a full 5 stars, but they were housing participants in a middle school football / soccer tournament being held around Falun. It seemed no adults were helping the kids know about appropriate behavior when staying in a hotel. Really, this isn’t the fault of the hotel, so I should award them 5 stars simply for being so professional with these barely supervised young people. Excellent, superb breakfast. Many many stars for that. The staff were also superb.

Varje år vid Midsommar sover vi en-två nätter. Vi är nöjda med rum och så, men det är ärligt talat bedrövligt att varenda gång kommer bussar med en massa turister och då får de andra gästerna inte mat på restaurangen. Alla gäster betalar och har lika värde, det ska inte finnas sådana diskrimineringar mellan gäster. Har ni en restaurang då ska ni servera de gästerna som önskar äta där.

Hade en bra natt på Scandic. Kändes fräscht! Stort rum. Överlag känslan av ett bra jobb-hotell, smidigt med parkering om du kommer med bil. Skulle nog välja ett lite närmare stan om det var just den jag ville se, men för arbetsresor är det supersmidigt! Helt ok frukost, lite trötta grönsaker och hade inte tackat nej till ex. En egengjord juice eller smoothie.
