A hotel with potential


First the bad stuff
There pricing was up there with some bigger chains so expect more from a hotel. I received a room that looked clean-ish, but they hadn’t changed the sheets. Just made the bed again. There was a clear indication that someone had slept in the bed before, plus there was hair by the pillows. I asked for milk for morning coffee, which I received (milk packets), only it had gone out of date 6 months before. I was down as soon as breakfast opened. The yogurt tasted like it went sour. I watched the staff as they worked the room, not once did I notice they said good morning with a smile to any of their patrons. Looked more on the grumpy side. There was no climate control in the room so I had to have the window open, and was quiet noisy with people under the window. The good stuff
The front desk staff was friendly. The rooms were nicely done up and my second room seemed really clean and fresh, newly renovated. The beds and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable. And the town quieted down to have the window open after 22:00. Strangely enough, this alone if I had to stay in Falköping again I would want to pick this place again. So many hotels skimp on comfort and I actually had a good sleep there. Besides cleanliness being top priority, comfort is a huge part. I truly hope they get a good manger that is customer service minded. I think this hotel potentially be a nice place to stay.

Frukosten var bra. Mindre bra var den unga oengagerade frukostpersonalen. Duka av efter de Ă€tande var jobbigt och att torka av borden frĂ„n smulor och spilld sylt eller yoghurt gjordes konsekvent inte oavsett person. TrĂ„kigt dĂ„ det inte var mycket att göra för dem alls. StĂ€darna vet jag inte vad de gjorde. Mitt rum var likadant alla tre dagar med grus pĂ„ golvet, samma handdukar etc. Enda skillnaden jag noterade var ett kladdigt skoavtryck efterlĂ€mnat av stĂ€d i badrummet. Fredag kvĂ€ll samlades ett stort antal av traktens ungdomar pĂ„ parkeringen och skrĂ€nade i sommarnatten, polis svĂ€ngde förbi nĂ„gra gĂ„nger och dĂ„ lugnades feststĂ€mningen. Kul iofs för undomarna men jobbigt om man vill sova. Nyckelkortet till dörren slutade fungera nĂ„gra gĂ„nger. Överlag tre av fem stjĂ€rnor.

Jag tycker att rummet var litet. Annars var allt var helt och rent! Inget att klaga pÄ men dyrt och frukosten var inget speciellt. Tror att jag fick betala nÄgonstans mellan 1400-1600:-/natt.
