The views from this property are absolutely spectacular, and the home has tremendous potential. Unfortunately, the condition of the house did not match the listing or our expectations. Upon arrival, we found numerous cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues, including excessive dust and cobwebs, broken furniture and fixtures, missing smoke detectors, and other conditions that should have been addressed before guests arrived. We spent part of our first evening cleaning and making the home comfortable enough to stay in, which is not how anyone wants to begin a vacation. The location and views are truly the property’s greatest assets, but in its current condition I cannot recommend it. This home should not be rented until it has been thoroughly deep cleaned, properly maintained, and all safety concerns have been corrected. I sincerely hope the owner invests in bringing the property up to the standard its setting deserves.
